I have not sharpened it since I used it out of the box, and I used the knife blade for about two weeks with out using my edc knife, this thing is still very sharp. Cuts zip ties, ropes, strings, and package bands very well. Knife Blade, looks good and cuts great, the serrations seem tuff. Scissors, worked great at trimming my finger nails, cut some paracord, tags, labels, and cloth with it no problem at all.

Phillips bit, works alright too and is nothing to really write home about, bites into a screw ok, but not like the normal Snap-on screw driver would.īottle opener, again nothing to write home about.

Pliers end locks up okish, but could be better if the tools on the inside of the handle did not touch with handles closed. While not spring operated or assisted they open easy, with out much effort. grip pretty good, and if you know anything about pliers you know that if you have one that can not or does not lock down well they become worthless tools.Īnother plus to the pliers are replaceable cutters, and a crimp tool on the end that rest in side the handles. I think the the pliers end is about the best part of the tool.
pliers deployed it takes the length to just over 6 1/2 inches. Tool in un-deployed status measures 5 and 1/8 inch by 1 1/2 inch by 3/4 inch. The pliers have to be open or in the deployed position to gain access to the tool in side the handle. It was slightly hard to open while new but after a day or two of flicking it open, it opened better each time. I found it fairly easy to open either right or left handed after a little wear in. It is a one handed pliers end opening multi tool. I have carried it around on my belt for a while. Got it a couple months ago right of the Snap-on truck’s weekly visit. Anyways here is a closer look at this thing for you guys.
My personal opinion and is it just that, Snap-on is pretty much the best tool on the earth. I work in the automotive industry, there are good tool companies out there and bad ones.
